Village AtheistA few months ago, I created a site called STOPOA which stands for Support the Original Pledge of Allegiance after creating a Facebook group which now has over 500 members. With my redesign of Village Atheist, by adding some forums as the main page, I’ve also now included stopoa.org as sort of a sister site with the same theme as these.
This is a new site that is dedicated to Atheism. You’ll also see links and articles about Science, Reason, Rationalism and Free Thinking. The idea behind this website was after reading Richard Dawkins God Delusion to express my views on Atheism and the name was an idea in which Richard Dawkins mentioned the village atheist in his book. I hope this site will help other village atheists come out and spread the word. Village Atheists have always kept to themselves and were the lone person of the group but let’s change that.
